    Couldn't agree more!
This (finally) puts a huge period after the JT17/19 shows and gives them a clean slate / canvas to move forward - if the band chooses to move forward.
  2. Knowing U2 and their label they are probably waiting to make a big announcement that they want the film to “help safely re-open movie theaters and bring people together” blah, blah ahead of their next tour. “The Joshua Tree tour takes on new meaning and really feels even more relevant with the pandemic.”

A streaming release on Netflix, HBO Max, etc by far makes the most sense for this at this point. Hopefully they will. U2 need to re-learn the value of small gestures...not everything has to be “the biggest and best thing” they’ve ever done.

Of all people, Taylor Swift crushed it during the pandemic...2 (surprisingly good) albums and a streaming special performing one of the albums in its entirety. Take notes U2....take notes.

Exactly, I think the same way. U2 and their eternal search for relevance. Sometimes the basics work better.
  4. This "relevance" that they seem to always seek is slowly slipping away from them
  5. It's been gone for years.

And Adam has finally admitted it recently.
  6. it's only rock 'n'roll.....but I like it.
  7. I could see maybe March or April appearance as they have just let the ATYCLB20 thing rest for a while.

Haha sounds exactly like the kind of thing you'd read on U2.com when announcing it. Well done
  9. A couple of people have started #ReleaseTheJoshuaTreeLiveMexico on Twitter.

  10. "We demand the release of this show"
  11. But it's not like it's never going to be released unless there's a fan movement, unlike the Synder Cut. They have tried to release it multiple times but it got pushed back for different reasons.
