1. Elevation (Reflux remix), Desire, AoH, EBTTRT, and EBW all added. IWF became a regular. Gloria got an outing. Best Thing also came back.

Mexico had You're The Best Thing on both nights if you really want it in there.

I'm still hoping it comes out, and yes, I'm willing to wait to see it in theatres - there's added performances that were filmed as well and not just the Mexico concerts. "Heartland" done acoustically in the desert, "Walk to the Water" was performed and filmed in studio, they did the B-sides "Sweetest Thing" and "Spanish Eyes" in the Mexico shows.

What's the rush really? They've edited this with theatres in mind. They have a whole release plan ready that we were very close to seeing when the pandemic hit. And from the sounds of it they have very little coming out between now and the new album (which I suspect will be in 2022).
  3. Could be looking at quite a lengthy film if all those performances are included and if nothing is cut from the actual concert itself. Or they could be bonuses for the DVD.

I know that the 2019 shows weren't filmed and I think I saw somewhere that Heartland was finished before the 2019 tour started, but did we ever work out what this was for?

Was the studio performance of Walk to the Water done in 2017 or 2019?

  5. I assume the whole release plan apart from actually releasing it is canned?

  6. I think it's very likely this was a photoshoot for a new album. If I remember correctly Anton took more photos of the band in the city of Mumbai (so maybe Mumbai and Ahimsa would be the theme of the album which sort of fits the Songs of Ascent vibe). It would be cool to see these photos officialy released; the guys in their suits inside the pool is pretty funny. Of course, the pandemic might have changed everything, so both this photoshoot and SoA might never be released.

Without looking back, Desire/AoH were simply added to the end of the first set - and (the superior) EBTTRT replaced Miss Sarajevo, correct? I guess I got lucky as they played IWF to close the Toronto show so I never thought of it as that much of an addition. Still waiting to witness Gloria (and ASOH). I suppose you could also add Love is Bigger... to your list.

Lol, they barely changed anything, both setlists are good.
  9. They played 25 songs most nights in 2019 and 22 I think was the most common number played in 2017 3 songs extra is quite a good difference.
  10. Stopped to hear of a U2 release.......

  11. Thought going to the Joshua Tree site in Nevada would expedite the release the 2017 tour film.

You know, 2022 is the 35th anniversary of the album. I think fans need another remaster.
