Funny you should mention One I was thinking you might, the u22 version is from a gig I was at Glasgow 2009 that’s why I chose that, but Slane is an amazing version it would have been that if I wasn’t being bias.
I can relate to the disc-space economics. I think at least half of my Mac's hard drive has been dedicated to compilations I've created using Nero Soundtrax!

Not as bad as heroin but a nasty habit these personal mixes are!!!!!
  2. I had to buy a 500gb external SSD for all my projects and even that's not enough.
  3. Yes. I bought an external hard drive with a TB worth of storage. Oddly enough, all my original files (eg, all those Pearl Jam bootlegs, etc.) are on that and most of my compilations are on my MacBook. I have Apple Music for my of my studio album needs.
  4. I was talking to some friends with whom I'm recording a Please collab cover, and we agreed that if we ever get to play a live U2 tribute concert we'd do a rarity-only setlist, comprising only songs that U2 haven't ever (or only once) played live. This is my attempt:

    01 – Like A Song
    02 – Stand Up Comedy
    03 – Levitate
04 – Lady With The Spinning Head
    05 – Stateless
    06 – Oh Berlin
07 – Walk To The Water
    08 – Winter
    09 – Love Comes Tumbling
    10 – Playboy Mansion
    (acoustic)
    11 – One Step Closer
    12 – Sleep Like A Baby Tonight
    13 – Peace On Earth
    14 – White As Snow
    (electric)
15 – This Is Where You Can Reach Me Now
    16 – Stranger In A Strange Land
17 – When I Look At The World
    18 – Promenade
19 – Luminous Times (Hold On To Love)

    20 – Fez / Being Born
    21 – Drowning Man
    22 – So Cruel
    23 – Heartland

Like A Song was played once, and abbreviated acoustic versions of So Cruel & Peace On Earth were sung 3 times each by Bono, but other than that they're all pretty much untouched by the band since they were released.

YOU would perform “One Step Closer?” Ha! I love a recording of that seeing that we’ve disagreed on the quality of it for over a decade!
  8. Salome
    no one ever mentions
    SALOME
    shake it

Hahaha I know, right? Next thing I'll be choosing Grace among my favorites from the 00s

Nah, the song is fine. It's just a bit bland but it's got some nice atmospheric work by Edge, and I think an acoustic arrangement (maybe with a string quartet or small orchestra like EBW) could work.
  10. Sergio - I'd actually love that setlist. There's not a bad song there - and Levitate! You know my love for this masterpiece. And One Step Closer is absolutely beautiful.

I know you'd react I'd pay BIG money to see all these rarities performed properly. For real.

Be better if you could squeeze in down all the days somewhere.
