Why? they've already milked it on the 20th anniversary with the Uber and Super deluxe box sets I can't see them releasing any more for the 30th if anything they will probably stream Zoo TV from Sydney again.
  2. Apart from unreleased live material what else could they possibly give us that wasn’t included in the 2011 release? These anniversary re-issues are starting to wear thin.
  3. I really don’t think there’s going to be a 30th anniversary for Achtung Baby. What would be cool though is if they put out some of the rarer bonus tracks that were only available on the bonus cds that came with the super and Uber deluxe sets, that aren’t on the two disc and iTunes releases. Pretty much just release the audio From
The super deluxe set on iTunes. It’d be nice to have songs like Oh Berlin, Heaven & Hell etc... as well as the “baby” versions of the songs available to purchase or stream on digital platforms.

    An Instagram post
  5. A lot of artists are doing live stream shows which you have to pay for to see it, maybe U2 will do a live show like that and play Achtung Baby front to back. And for the 30th anniversary of Zoo TV they should release some shows on either audio and/or video. No special tour, just a regular album tour with some AB rarities in the setlist.

For more live material from zoo tv which there hasn’t been enough live stuff from. It’s considered by many their best tour yet we only have one show released from it. They could very easily release a set similar to the ATYCLB anniversary with the album plus a cd or 2 of b sides, outtakes, remixes and then another 2 cd’s of a live show and unlike ATYCLB it would need to be an unreleased live show as Sydney was a fanclub gift so it wouldn’t be that. I know the studio material would be repeated from the 20th anniversary set but that’s exactly what they did with JT, released a 30th anniversary set that included pretty much the same studio stuff just with a couple of new mixes and then put the MSG gig on there. Do the same for AB and I’d be more than happy to pay for a cd and vinyl set just for the live stuff.
  7. Official anniversary or no official anniversary, I'll still be celebrating it's 30th birthday this year.
  8. I will be as well by uploading VHS ZooTV material within this year. I have 20-25 mins of interviews and clips coming soon.
  9. None of the outdoor footage or scenes in front of the TV shop. Only the indoor studio footage.

JT17 was only released because of the tour.
