1. Haven’t listened to a full U2 album since a breakup. Was at the Melbourne and Adelaide shows for JT19 with her. It’s a good/ painful memory to have shared such an incredible time with her on these shows. It’s extremely hard for me to even look back on the tour without feeling sad.

Wow, that sucks. Time heals everything, or so they say... So give yourself some time, listen to other music that brings freshness and new emotions your way, and you'll just know when you're ready to come back to U2. Cheer up

Thanks man. I love U2 that much but for some reason every time I listen to them it hurts. It’s been over a year since the breakup and still painful. Listing to A new U2 album would either be a breath of fresh air or a terrible/emotional experience depending on the lyrical content.
  4. Welp, Bill and Melinda Gates, long-time buddies of Bono, are divorcing after 27 years. If you remember, the 3 of them shared the "Time Person of the Year 2005" award.
  5. Man I saw that, pretty crazy.

Melinda is about to sky rocket on the wealthiest women in the world list lol

Yeah, I know how it goes. I couldn't listen to any Coldplay or Amaral (one of my fav Spanish bands) for a long long time after breaking up with my ex gf because they were her favorite bands and we'd seen them together and everything. After some time I could go back to them, and even if memories are yet a bit bittersweet, I can enjoy their music again after some years. So yeah, time will heal that, and with U2 being your favorite band I'm sure you'll be again listening to them soon.

Sorry to hear mate. Yeah I can listen to U2 only after a few beers when my mind is “better” normally I wouldn’t let a breakup affect my my music listening as I’ve had partners before her that loved the same music as me. As I was in the front row with her in Adelaide in 2019 and great seats at the Melbourne show and shared such an amazing time I look back with great sadness and also the happiness that was shared between us during these shows. It’s amazing how music can bring you such happiness and also such pain. I’m hoping I can one day listen to U2 without such attached memories.
  8. Would anyone agree with a comment I’ve just read on Facebook stating that ‘they’ve played Bad so much it gets tiresome’?
The full quote was actually ‘they’ve played bad and pride so much it gets tiresome’ but I know people have said that about pride just never Bad.
