1. I don't think you're going to convince bazza1 of anything. It isn't even about me; part of releasing stuff online is you accept the fact that people will be jerks/entitled about it. Vetri has long history of burning bridges and putting out poor quality. If you enjoy his stuff, well, more power to you. However, his type of approach and attitude (not just him though) is the type of BS the results in less stuff getting shared freely in general. Ask yourself why no other recordings from Sao Paulo 2017 have been released....

In any case, we've gotten off topic of the original post. Vetri wants contributions for his latest project. If you want to contribute, go right ahead. I personally urge caution for anybody collaborating with Vetri due to past behavior, but anybody can make their own decision.
  2. hoserama:
If it were at least the title Achtung Baby from U2, excuse me it is still "ACTHUNG BABY" (Vetri 2012, 2021)
  3. I will concede that correction.
  4. It’s just sad. A skilled video editor and an extremely skilled taper won’t produce consistent and AMAZING collabs just because the video editor won’t give credit where credit is due :/

It goes a little deeper than that. The U2Brazil 2017 project, which Vetri edited, actually took my audio and butchered it by mixing in camera audio.

So I'll collaborate with other video folks, but not Vetri/U2Brazil, as they've shown poor judgment in their quality controls. Not as simple as just giving credit. And enlighten people on the history, as folks should make an informed decision before collaborating with Vetri.

Oh yikes... yeah that’s not good lol.

side note, you provide amazing content. Thank you very much. My dad and I listen to Dublin 2018 constantly (among others) and have good memories because of all of it

I'll say and repeat this just one more time:

About the Brazil project, I already said to you in pv, that the U2br.com staff said to me that they had your permission to use It. I asked them of If it was ok and they said to me: Yes.

So, what I though? Ah, ok, let's go ahead. And again: I did not mixed or edited that final audio from Brazil shows. I did Just the video footages edition. The audio was made by some guy name Bruno, which I didn't knew until the project be done. And honestly, I didn't liked the final result. But... I'm not the boss of U2br.com.

I hope, once and for all, that this enter in your brain.

Yep, and then there's the other multiple other times you've used my audio with the clear direction not to use it.

So everybody associated with that project did it wrong--You, Romulo, Bruno, etc. I specifically told you and Romulo to not use my audio. I really don't care if you want to blame Romulo.

Besides, it was pretty bad audio on the U2brazil 2017 project. If you and rest of the crew had just some slight quality control measures, I probably would have actually shared more high quality audio for it.
  9. Check out:

Which took audio from my IEM release.

    From my info file:
Please ask (and wait for permission!) before putting it into any matrix + video production. If you ask nicely for a quality high-res video project, I will likely say yes. If you put it on YouTube or cell phone video production without asking, I will send my cats from hell to chew your computer cables. And if you're a Brazilian with a name that starts with V, and rhymes with tree, you do not have permission to use it for any video project (how much more clear do I need to get?!)

So cut the crap, you know exactly what you're doing.

Ha bootleggers arguing over who owns the audio you couldn't make it up
  11. I just prefer that the audio that I spend a lot of time on and release freely doesn't get attached to poor quality projects.
  12. hoserama:
How does the audio look and sound without the stolen audio from hoserama at Vetri from I still, so that one has a comparison.
