Same, it just spoils it for me when Bono stops singing. Obviously worse with recordings because we’re just listening but even in person it just makes the performance feel incomplete to me.
  2. The audience singalong isn't always a minus in a show. As an example, a performance of "One" that I often listen to is Torino, 2015-09-04 (I was there but I genuinely say I would listen to even if I wasn't). Imho it's impossible to say that the audience singing does not add something to the song performance. It doesn't appen many times, but when the audience is loud and clear the song just goes to another level

For me it’s always a minus. Only my opinion though I realise but I think I’d rather the setlist be a song shorter than have a version with the crowd singing most of it.
  4. Does anyone have a high-resolution (or even just decent quality) copy of the "Live At The Apollo" cover artwork that they're willing to share...?

  7. Hmm. My DVD has tiny hiccups in audio/video already at the intro.

Might this be an issue of having an old-ish dvd player that cant play dual layer dvd? Or is this a faulty dvd ? Works fine on my laptop ...

Matt, If you didn't like Berlin I think it is time to move on. This band doesn't have many years left and I would be surprised if they could pull something together better than Berlin.

I understand where you are coming from, however I really think the big thing against it was 1) I'm not the biggest fan of SoE, and 2) I didn't actually see that tour. Had I seen the Tour, I'm sure I would have absolutely loved it.

Seen two shows on the tour. No shows in Toronto so did the road trip for Chicago Night 2 and Montreal Night 1. If this disappointed you then those shows would've because at that time the first act was pretty much a rehash of the I&E tour. Mind you, loved it as I always do but those last shows on the tour were something special with Dirty Day, The Fly, Zoo Station, Stay and WGRYWH!
