1. Hi, just to share with you that my subscriber gift was delivered today (Portugal).
    12/08 > 20/08 – Crozet, VA to Portuguese (Lisbon) Airport.
    20/08 > 14/09 – Stuck in Portuguese customs for almost a month without warning.
    14/09 > 23/09 – Received notification from customs and after payment of 2,46€ (service fee plus VAT) it was delivered today.
    Basically, 1 week from US to Portugal, 3 ½ weeks stuck in a moment it can’t get out of and finally 1 ½ week to deliver.

  4. For anyone waiting in Ireland, here's 33 pages worth of people having issues with any package coming from outside of the EU.

    An Post have put in a new system in relation to the new VAT charges that came in on July 1st. Only problem is, they are only accepting a very specific code and electronically ONLY.

    Everything is being returned to sender immediately without notification if it doesn't fit the bill. I recently paid VAT as requested by An Post, for an item they then returned to the sender regardless. I was 4 weeks chasing for a refund.

    Unfortunately, we are not in for an easy one here.

  6. Disc 2 of The Apollo gives an error message on several CD players. I have already sent three emails to U2.com with the request for a new disc 2. No response back.
    What is for kind of organisation.?

    I had the same problem with CD1. I contacted u2.com via the Help-Section (Topic "Subscriber Gift Shipping Issue"), I got a reply a few hours later that they will send me another copy of the gift. 2 weeks later the gift arrived. No problems for me.

  10. must give the fan club some credit here, the one time i had an issue with the cd gift, they also sent me a replacement copy free of charge with no questions or hassel
