1. Happy 40th birthday October - the neglected middle child of the first trilogy. Everyone admires the firstborn (Boy) and dotes over the baby (War) but overlooks the joy you brought us.
  2. Great early work imo, much underrated album and yes on a par with War.
The October Tour concerts are superb amongst some of my fav shows from the early days.
  3. We are still waiting for a full October show. BBC and Tiffany's will have to do.
  4. Too bad we can’t get a full release of Werchter from 1982
  5. Bumping to give the spoiler-free people a scare.

Besides, if there’s any time to appreciate this album it’s now - October. Giving it a listen since I’m slowly clambering back up for a stint on the U2 train. I apologise if I ever spoke ill of this album.

    Evil as can be!

October is much better than what most of us usually say. I dare to say if SBS and NYD were there instead of Scarlet and Is That All?, October would be regarded as an early masterpiece with War being relegated to a much lesser place in their discography (the place that October usually holds lol).
