Many countries will not allow a corporation to label an item as a gift. And some will return the items if it is done. The way around this for a number of years was to label an item with a low value, which still works for many countries. Unfortunately in Europe, the old exclusion that if under 22 EURO no taxes and fees would be collected was removed in July.
