They should be looking at improving the other stuff anyway but 3 gigs at £60 physical and digital (with the option of £30 digital only subscription) is better value than 1 gig at £30 physically with no option.

I'm expecting a non-music year again soon. I wouldn't be surprised if it's this one coming. 2014 and 2016 were both non-music years, and both years leading into a new album release. (Songs of Innocence came out in 2015, Songs of Experience in 2017.)

I know they’ve sometimes said just to email them and let them know they want the new gift instead once it’s announced but that wasn’t always the case was it? There shipping of ‘gifts’ is a joke anyway regardless if it’s in the same year as the subscription they have regularly announced the wrong dates the gift will start shipping. Although I’ll give them their due with Berlin and Apollo gifts for most people they’ve done well to get them shipped out in good time.

Interesting comment that has me wondering then what it would be. Hopefully not another set of lithographs - the last lot remain unopened and in storage. There's nowhere suitable in the house to hang them and getting approval from the wife is unlikely. She'll indulge me travelling to see shows but hanging pictures of Bono and the lads on our wall is a bridge too far.
