If, however, he does indeed talk about an actual ZooTV anniversary, then I'm not sure how I feel about this. It's my all time favorite tour and I think it's the greatest tour in history which no one will ever top and that's mainly because of when it went on the road for the first time; it was ahead of its time, absolutely mindblowing and represented the U2 of the 90s. I wish I was alive at the time so that I could've experienced this madness. So, if they tour a 90s ZooTV production in the future - it will be super awesome I'm sure - but it's such an epic tour and an important part of U2's history that it will kind of lose its magic if they 'touch' it... (If a ZooTV revival is what it takes for the band to play So Cruel, Love is blindness & all the POP stuff which have been overlooked for too long then sure, go ahead!)
Exactly, I think so, I haven't lived Zoo TV, unfortunately I was born 10 years later, but I would prefer that they not touch it

  2. Tbh a dont even think id like to see that. The guy can hardly move the last time they were touring. But then again they always do surprise us sometimes

They could rename it 'Social Media Feed' and it would essentially be the same in-your-face blasting that ZooTV, except that (unfortunately) we'd be used to all the digital noise.
  4. At least in they do tour Zootv again I wonder how many people would visit the confession boxes and say "I still haven't received my U2.com subscription gift from 2019". LOL.

Yeah, but when he came to Argentina, Bono was jumping, throwing himself to the ground and toasting Messi, I think Bono may surprise us a bit haha
  6. I prefer an album just like AB. New style. New Sound. Innovation. And than a Zoo Tv like tour.

These updates have me thinking of a few things. Firstly that their contract with live nation has been agreed with very loose terms if there’s no pressure for an album and more importantly a tour which is where live nation come in. With Adam talking about releasing an album in a couple of years they don’t tend to predict dates which they end up beating so it does seem like late 2023 at best for a new album maybe even 2024. And again based on what Adam was saying with the acoustic reworkings I think they might opt to release them in stages which he says is an option as that will keep things ticking over for a bit, albeit not as exciting as a new album.

What's the longest stretch between albums? I think Atomic Bomb - No Line and No Line to SOI are tied at 5(ish)? We're at 3 now, so a 2023 would match the 5. Not a fan of the time in between lol.
