1. Must be some unsold tickets needing shifted.
  2. This whole "we're not touring anymore" and "we're going away" story is getting old tbh
  3. Great news!!!
  4. If we're lucky then one day it will be true.
  5. If they’d do another album like parachutes or a rush of blood to the head, I’d be happy for them to stick around. I think everyday life was the last album that was remotely close to those first two.
  6. I'm pretty sad. I was hoping Coldplay were going to stop making albums and stop touring in 2022. Now we have to wait three more years...

  9. this is old news - U2 said they were going to stop making good music right after POP and they have kept to their word

uh, coldplay always on U2's tailcoats
  10. Is it weird that I still like Coldplay?

I'm an old school fan since I first saw "Yellow" on MTV in 2000. IMO their first 4 albums are the best, but I still like a fair amount of what came after. I loved the "Everyday Life" album. This new album isn't really connecting with me, too much pop, but it does have a few good ones. I hope Coldplay announce some more shows in the US. Currently the closest show is Chicago, and I only travel that far for U2.
