1. Do you think it could be possible?
Will the entire album be played live soon or ever?
    Maybe several unique streaming concerts?
Why do not they do it?

What do you think of all this.
  2. please don't do that, hopefully end of this year the last ever Tour.
  3. Why do you want it to be the last ever tour? I think the band have at least 2 or 3 tours left.
  4. Someone has to take over from The Rolling Stones
  5. They’ll always be a better and more relevant live band for me personally over the Rolling Stones as they actually play a substantial amount of new material. The Rolling Stones haven’t significantly promoted new material for a long time. Not dismissing the achievements of the stones or the fact they put on a good show but I’d be bored following them.
  6. They are not relevant for me musically speaking either, but the desire they put into it is admirable I think

I don’t think it will happen. They’ve already said they want to put out a new album first. I can’t see them doing a full on Achtung Baby tour if they are promoting a new album.

I can see them doing a Zoo TV style tour without playing the full album in order. Something like what they did in 2018 with a heavy ZooTV segment.
  8. Whether they should do an Achtung Baby (or ZOOTV) anniversary tour or not is debatable. However, why would you put an artificial cap on hoping the next tour (of any theme) as the last ever tour. If they are able to still give us a few more years of quality, then the next tour being last for no basis makes no sense. On the other hand, you are arguing that there is no chance that U2 could perform at a quality level anymore anyways, then realistically why even schedule a tour. To me, scheduling a last tour just because "last ever" is a way worse argument than disagreeing that they should do an Achtung Baby (or ZOOTV) tour.
  9. They’re relevant as a live band without a doubt. The numbers they bring in on tours often promoting new material is excellent. Even though some of the more poor attendances have been pointed out before overall they deliver great numbers.
  10. They also only had low attendances (and even Europe was mostly well sold) in 2018 because they had been touring the same markets for 3 years, whilst charging expensive prices.

I personally have seen enough of AB to not want an AB30 tour. I wouldn't even want a ZOO TV theme or segment like EI. I would much rather they focus on the newer material or focus on other older albums and incorporate those into a segment.
  11. On topic: zoostation from na ‘92 leg 1 or 2 show with the cool Bono intro before the opening riff
  12. I think they were toying with the idea of a limited run of shows in the US and Europe for this summer. But Covid laws have made touring in Europe kind of a difficult situation for 2022. So I think they just decided "Fuck it", and are planning a new album/tour next year.

The thing is, it's naive to think Covid won't be a factor next year. We could be in a position where things are AS BAD as they are now, or WORSE. That's why I don't agree with the notion of kicking the can down the road. There will undoubtedly be another Covid wave next winter that shuts down half of Europe, and that unfortunately is when tickets would have to go on sale for a spring/summer 2023 tour.
