No connection between stay, landlady and wild horses and cities they were simply songs they were working on and it seems looking to introduce into the set. TUF was the one about the city and then zoo station was fitting in Hamburg was it unification day I think. So I don’t think zoo station was originally intended to be a regular. I reckon if Berlin wasn’t the final show we still would have had stay and wild horses but only 2 songs to replace dirty day, zoo station and the fly, maybe landlady but probably a different song from the past would have made its way in and then I don’t know what songs they would have linked to the cities but I’m assuming they had ideas.
  2. Not for me, 5 new songs which is one of the main reasons for going to a U2 concert and 2 of their all time highlights, especially live, in COBL and NYD. Even pride was a nice reworking for the intro. Shame One was a karaoke version.
  3. Wouldn't say boring, still enjoyed every part of that show up to and including '13'. But yeah the real highlights ended with Acrobat.
  4. Yeah to each their own. I don't like the song in any form, but if I have to choose I choose the acoustic version to listen to at home, for sure. It's a chill listen. But hearing it live was dreadful. Following it by the sadly watered-down Summer Of Love wasn't good either. I don't recall being so bored at any other U2 show than I was with that sequence at the 4 gigs I saw in 2018. Sad

I missed the solo. And the rest of the lyrics...

SOE was easily the worst tour for me. Especially knowing what it became towards the end with all the setlist changes. Felt like a slap in the face.

Yeah definitely was a lowlight part of the show. Summer of Love was awful live lol at least when I saw it the crowd was kinda confused. The show overall was my least fav of the small amount I’ve seen by far
  8. I thought both Best Thing and Summer of Love suffered from too mich prerecorded stuff.

Anyway, bothe songs provided enough time to get a beer and find a good spot on the floor for Pride and the rest of the show.

They did, that particular tour felt like more of a theatre production than a gig for me although I did enjoy myself.
  10. what was very strange about this tour was that on the opening night the setlist had 'wild horses' and other songs that were later removed so that some would be back on the setlist at the end of the tour.
