1. Yeah I have a feeling it's gonna be a pretty special song for us. Let's see what the album brings, I have little expectations but at the same time I'm ready to be surprised and enjoy it to the max - you never know when it's gonna be the last!
  2. Sad to say I have zero hype for any new Muse. I was in love with this band at one point. This song sounds like if someone made a parody of a muse song. I never want to hear that again.
  3. I too was big into Muse for quite some time. I still love listening to their Glastonbury 2004 (and 2010) performance and the HAARP concert. Unfortunately, no songs from the last few albums have stuck with me.

Oh well. I guess the same happened to me with bands like Weezer, Green Day, Smashing Pumpkins, and many others.
  4. The song is catchy. I only have a problem with this 80s synths that are all over the place, they're cheesy and sound crap imo. I thought they wouldn't appear anymore after the synth-ful Simulation Theory but here they are again. If you play the main Compliance riff on a distorted guitar and remove the cheesy echo from some of the vocals it doesn't sound bad.
  5. Maybe could have been good song if they removed those synth and added more guitars... This is crap...
  6. What I've heard of Compliance sounds pretty catchy (kinda like the synthy sound) but it's like there's something missing still. They do tend to get overboard with filling every single spot with vocals and sounds (like U2 has done on occasion ). Combined with the heavy compression it sounds too much in your face, leaving no space for dynamics
