1. Really looking forward to the Netflix series. More than new music 👀
  2. Will never be able to understand that mind set of a fan. Not wanting to get into a disagreement about it as a few others said the same but the day new music isn’t the thing I’m most excited about from the band is the day I stop calling myself a fan. Unless it becomes clear the band won’t be releasing new music anymore in the future for whatever reason.
  3. Turning into Matt from atu2.

I don't see this reworked album as new music. It's old wine in new bottles.

But if it's for the real new album, surely

Well I can understand that a lot more. Reworks aren’t for everyone, they’re not my preference but I think when done right can still be good. Still I’d always chose music over other band related stuff but I respectfully accept your opinion.
  6. I'm struggling to get excited for the reworked album. If its the hits reworked then I don't care. If its mainly POP, NLOTH and the early days reworked then that could be interesting, although I don't actually think POP needs re-recording.
  7. If it’s anything like Snow Patrols reworked album then it’ll get one listen and no more.
  8. Funny you mention that because I seen someone just the other day on a FB U2 fan page saying how much they liked the snow patrol reworked album. Haven’t listened to it myself though but snow patrol’s studio efforts don’t sound inferior to the live versions like a lot of U2’s work so I’d think that leaves more room for U2 to improve stuff than snow patrol. I don’t know if the point of this U2 effort though is to improve stuff or offer alternative ways to listen to songs, maybe a bit of both.

    You mean re-re-recording
