1. I voted no because I think the window of relevance has closed. Sure, the pandemic interrupted their plans big time but the time to release it was in 2019 to build interest in the second incarnation of the tour; not now or next year. Die hard fans like us will still buy it but what's the point of releasing something that says "Hey, look what we did 5 years ago".

For the life of me I cannot understand the approach to visual recordings of the last 2 or 3 tours given their history prior to that. There's this mess and then e+i being filmed in 4k only to be released via the fan club on DVD. Either Oseasry is giving them bad advice or they're getting too paranoid and precious about being perfect.
  2. I already said and Will say it again Oseary should have been sacked around the time when Bono had bike accident, band should have been all over planed talk shows saying how bad they feel for him etc to promote SOI … instead they just vanished and came back only half a year later when the tour started … it’s ridiculous in modern age to drown your own efforts this way

Totally agree it looks like they've completely shelved it ,what was stopping them releasing it to Netflix or Amazon Prime or even U2.com during the lockdown where it would have gotten a lot of viewership as new content was at a minimum during that time .
  4. It is the dark days of U2 publicity right now.

    +1, I voted no.
  6. At its very best this was going to be a niche of niche movie releases. At this point it’s barely even of interest to us diehard fans.

Like the tour itself, any release of the movie will be for nostalgia only at this point.
  7. I mean of course I’d watch it but until it exists and can be watched then it’s not worth burning the calories thinking about it.
  8. They could put it out for Christmas it would be 35.5+ years by that time.
  9. It will be a subscribers gift.
  10. Maybe it's just not very good?

The stage was a huge cinema-like-screen, and sometimes I felt I was in a huge outdoor-cinema. I liked it a lot!
Maybe there is just not point in going to a cinema to watch a movie of people watching a movie (sort of)?
Maybe they did not succeed in capturing that show in an adequate way?
I don't think it will see the light of day anytime soon. Maybe as part of an archives release or fanclub gift.
  11. I voted yes but not this year because there wasn't an "I hope so" option
