1. Compliance is not a bad song, but the subject matter? Is it me or have they kinda beaten a dead horse with the battle between the innocent civilian with the powers that be? Maybe I'm too compliant to figure it out. The old Muse is dead and gone, which is sad, but tons of bands have gone on this later years in search of a hit or shall I say relevance? Earth, Wind & Fire, Genesis, Chicago, Styx, Yes, all went more Pop as time went on.
  2. Not that I honestly care because I’m so turned off by these singles, but August??? Seems like an incredibly long wait.
  3. They mention in the email that "war in Europe" is one of the factors that has influenced this album. Maybe they're rewriting some songs or redesigining the booklet or whatever. Sounds a bit like SOE & Trump though

Haha sounds ridiculous to me but whatever. I’d be a little annoyed if I was hyped for this album.
  5. Did a google translate on a French post, I will mark it as a spoiler if there are people here who want to go in to the album without knowing anything.

    Spoiler (click to toggle)
The tracklist has just been unveiled
10 titles for a duration of 37min35 (only..) the shortest album in the band's discography!
The last track of the album "We Are Fucking Fucked" is the only song classified "Explicit Content", surely related to the number of "Fuck" pronounced in the song^^

The longest track (4:59) "Kill Or Be Killed", the shortest (3:00) "You Make Me Feel Like It's Halloween".

Matt said in an interview for Apple Music that "every song on the album would be the best muse song by genre, Compliance being the best Pop song, Kill Or Be Killed being the best Metal song"

We will give you a detailed account of this interview in the next few hours

An artist hyping their latest work?? Wow, unheard of
  7. Dom seems to have made most of the decisions regarding tracklist and style in the new album That's great.

  8. Listened to Compliance for the first time yesterday, I like it, looking forward to the rest of the album!
  9. Live debut of The Gallery!
  10. New Born was changed to Stockholm Syndrome at the last night yesterday.

Tonight’s show so far has seen Bliss rotated with Map of the Problematique (a very fair rotation IMO) and Stockholm Syndrome rotated with New Born (prefer the former but also pretty fair). Just like they did on the Second Law tour.

The other songs likely to be rotated are Citizen Erased (perhaps for Butterflies and Hurricanes?) and Space Dementia.

Edit: no other changes. CE and SD kept their spots. This has to be the first time the band haven’t played Time is Running Out at back ti back shows.

I hope they keep performing CE in the tour, I don't care about the others getting rotated. I kinda like it actually. Good point about TIRO not appearing for 2 nights in a row, you're probably right. To be honest I don't miss it, it's the song that got me hooked and I really like it, but it's time they start retiring some warhorses. I hope Starlight goes next!

These 2 nights in London have been fantastic, everyone who was there raved about how amazing it was. I had a pair of tickets 1 click away but £240 plus travel & accomodation was an expense I just couldn't justify But it was clear they were gonna be amazing gigs with setlist surprises a la Psycho UK Tour 2015... Oh well. I'm very glad for those who could go!
