    I’ve tried. The last two singles sound like parodies and won’t stand down sounds forced and has one of my least favorite verses from Muse. They just sound like they are out of ideas. The same lyrical content and vocal Melodie’s I’ve heard them use multiple times. I want nothing more than to enjoy a new Muse album.

    A great song should grab you by the neck from the first listen. Of course there are growers in every album by every band, and songs you instantly like and then start to dislike some time later, but as a rule of thumb one is not supposed to need 30 listens to start liking a song. I don't think anybody needed 30 listens to start liking Plug In Baby or Hysteria. They just hit you in the first 10 seconds and you just fucking adore them from minute one.

    Agreed. If I’m cringing 85% of the time I’m listening to a song, there’s no chance I’ll like it, no matter how many times I hear it.

    Yeah that is true, I love a new song on the first listen 99/100 times a new song drops from an artist Im a fan of. But listening to it more helps it to grow on me more. I aready liked WOTP when I listened to it the first time last night, but listening to it now im dancing to it lol.

    But obviously no one on this site knows what a great song is since you almost all hate on Grace
