1. Yes. Hershey Rehearsal August 92.

When I listen to a full show, I listen to whatever comes on but if I am in a Random mood, I will skip every non Red Flag Day song post 2005. I just can't connect with them.

Oh wait. I forgot Every Breaking Wave, specifically the EMA version. Not a fan of the studio version. After those 2, the song I like the most is American Soul. I like that one quite a bit, especially the live versions. Not as good as RFD but the best of the rest in my opinion.

Totally know I am in a very small minority with this.

You are in the minority, but you sure did pick two nice songs for sure. I was very annoyed when I took the 8 hour drive to Duluth, GA and they did not play Little Things or Wave. Red Flag Day sounds like old U2, and the acoustic Wave is 10 billion times than the Teddy Bear Tedder version or whatever trendy young producer worked on it in U2's quest to have relevant hits. They wouldn't Get Out Of Their Own Way, and even played American Volcano or whatever but the crappier version. Oh well, rant over.
  3. I’ve been staying away from the site lately as I was finding it hard to relate to most u2 fans at the moment about a lot of matters. Not bringing this up to create any drama on here, quite the opposite in fact. I have recently been banned from zootopia which has made me realise how great this site is that at least we can express views whether positive or negative. I received a warning around the time of the E&I Berlin release for pointing out that the stream would be getting downloaded illegally by people and that they should just make it available officially to download. At no point did I encourage or explain how to download the stream but yet this was enough to receive a warning. I have now been accused of being ‘abusive’ for pointing out the moderators not doing their job properly in allowing a fan called Manohlive on u2.com to call fans ‘crazy, silly and crabby’ who didn’t see things the same way as them in their fairytale land where nothing is wrong with u2.com. None of this I find overly offensive but I thought I’d test the waters and see what happens when I say the same thing but on the back of a negative comment. Guess what? Moderator Mich40 pipes up and says ‘this needs to stop’ nothing when ‘Manohlive’ says anything but straight in with a comment when I said something. I continued to point out times they’ve shown clear bias, but they don’t communicate with you and their is nowhere to officially complain about their terribly moderating standards. Now they have labelled my behaviour abusive and banned me?! So I’m on here partly to vent I’ll admit but also to warn other fans about the way zootopia do things, this fantasy land they live in where you can’t complain or be negative about anything and the favouritism showed, the bias attitude. And also it’s a good time to say that I appreciate this site more than ever. Sometimes it’s hard to read comments that you don’t agree with in relation to the band, especially if you’re in the minority, but at least people aren’t being silenced.

Most artist websites live in a fantasy world where they can do no wrong. Being a U2 fan has given me its fair share of reasons to complain. Try being a Prince fan, or fanatic as he himself called us! Try going to any number of fan run Prince sites!
I've been banned from Prince.org, as they have a resident clown/troll named Bart van Halen who picks at people for his happiness, and didn't even like anything Prince recorded after say 1989, which is insane. I got banned from Prince.org for picking at him a little. He was allowed to call people f@#$%# idiots, and I was not allowed to call him Bart Van Halen? Anyways, U2start has always been my favorite place to talk music, bootlegs, and have the freedom to be positive, negative, or anywhere in between. Most Prince sites I can't say my opinion. Everybody wants you to love even the worst of songs. Imagine trying to say the Kendrick Lamar thing was great when deep down inside it just doesn't fit? U2's fan site is not the worst, but it's just a way for me to get concert tickets, and sometimes great membership gifts, albeit at rip off prices.

But, what did you expect in the official forum of u2.com? Things are going to be done there as long as the band is interested, the word " illegal download" will sound like a sin.
