1. We have a new You Too poll, you can vote for this new poll on the frontpage and discuss it in this thread.

The question of this new You Too is:

You Too: With Ticketmaster's new dynamic pricing in mind, how much are you willing to pay for a U2 concert ticket?
    - Up to $100
    - Up to $250
    - Up to $500
    - Up to $1000
    - Up to $2500
    - I will pay whatever they ask

Please vote on the frontpage of the website, in this topic you can tell us why you voted for your answer.
  2. I choose up to 250. Regular tickets beneath 100 are already rare. And me paying more than 250 is out of the question for my wife 😜
  3. For a great seat I wouldn’t want to pay more than $250 or £ for me would be fine. If it really came to last minute and there was no other option maybe I’d stretch to £500. Redzone I’d be happy to pay £350ish for the cause.
  4. Maximum 150 euro. I can't afford more.
And in my opinion ticket prices are lately really overrated. For some people hardly duable to go a concert with such absurd high prices.
  5. At this point l wouldn't worry. Yes some seats will go high. You still have to fill a stadium or arena so the market will balance itself out. But ticket prices will increase like they always do.
  6. Not sure what I'd be willing to pay yet, but based on the billing of the arena - immersive, state of the art audio, turn water into wine, etc, I'd think prices would be higher in general than with your average arena show.. but who knows. Being part of the Venetian, there will probably be ticket and hotel packages as well.. the excitement is building! And it's great to see these pages going off again 🍷🍷
  7. Be careful what you vote for, Ticketmaster and Live Nation will be looking at this poll! /s
  8. Since they are equal now...150€ aka 150 USD in 2018. Hopefully less next time
  9. For a Vegas residency, you can expect prices to not be regular. I’m not going to lie, I’d pay $2000 to be up front. I’d probably do it even on a regular tour if it means not dealing with GA lol
  10. If there"s GA over 100 euro, then it's overpriced. I'm not doing more than 2 shows this time, but if prices are too high, I might end with just one show. And definitely not going to US this time, the prices for most acts are ridiculous compared with Europe

Apart from the price in general which I think I just about agree with you on I think the most important thing about GA is not to split it into price categories. That is something I’m glad they’ve resisted almost entirely up until now. I think in Japan they’ve had front and back GA but can’t think of other examples. There is red zone but I think that’s a little different since it’s a good cause and also it doesn’t prevent regular GA getting a similar or better spot even whereas if you had ‘back’ GA right away you’re guaranteed a worse spot than front.
