1. Updated our Tour Rumours 2023 article. Our source on the Dublin stadium rumours has confirmed it wasn’t U2 at all, and that it’s another big act.

I kinda guessed that a lot of BS rumours getting thrown our last week all at the same time, surprised there wasn't a story about them playing on the moon courtesy of Elon Musk.
The only concrete story so far is the release of Bono's book nothing else has been officially announced.

Life is more pleasant when waiting for official news.
  5. I’ll bet that Coldplay will do at least 2 shows at Croke Park next summer. That might be the rumored act.

That's a pity , that part of the rumour got me thinking that my continent, Europe, would get the world tour opener > Might still do though, If its outdoor shows they cant happen later than September here as it will be cold.

I think all the rumours are pointing to the tour starting in Europe in the summer. Then moving to North America in the autumn.

So hopefully you're all good there, for a world tour opener in Europe
  8. A return Wembley Stadium in 2023?
  9. Wembley doesn't have great sound IMO
  10. Another rumor from another site:

    https://www.ajournalofmusicalthings.com/because-so-many-u2-fans-read-this-website-heres-some-u2-news/

Of course, this Alan Cross guy, supposedly well known...could have taken everthing from this site lol

The French edition of the BONO Memoir is scheduled for release on NOVEMBER 2, 2022, and will be published by ÉDITION FAYARD with title Surrender: 40 songs. One story.
A new studio album, their 15th, will be released in 2023. The title is still unknown.
The new album will be followed by a tour.
U2 will open the new MSG Sphere in Las Vegas and then embark on stadium tour around the globe.
The band is planning to spend one week in each major city in order to reduce their carbon footprint (less travel)
They are scheduled to play Croke Park in Dublin in May 2023 (although that rumour has been debunked by some; it’s apparently actually a booking by Muse).
They will play in California at the new SOFI Stadium
The tour will continue throughout 2023 and 2024

I have been suggesting they play multiple times in the same cities for about 20 years. You save money on travel, and don't put the same milage on the rigors of the road. And if you hit 15-30 major cities, every U2 Start member can see multiple shows!!!! I would be up for 3 for sure. Even if I have to sneak in as Paul McGuinness to afford it. Funny they don't mention the 2 new albums...just one, but perhaps Alan Cross is not a huge fan himself, and did not notice the omission.
