    Agree about the venue, but I just refuse to believe that so many of you would pay 500 or more bucks for a "regular" ticket at your eveyday arena or stadium.
    You should believe it because if it’s between paying £500, £600 or not seeing a show on an entire tour a lot of us would be paying the money. It’s likely more than most of us ‘want’ to pay but when it’s something you love for an experience you can’t replicate we do it. I I know a few people that paid 2k to go and see the Europa league final last year, people do it and tbh it’s not the worst money spent. We all probably spend tens of thousands on alcohol in our lives, some people smoke, then there’s cars, yes cars could be considered essential but it’s not essential to buy one upwards of 15k as a guide yet many do. We all value things differently, I think people not willing to pay more than £150 are completely undervaluing a u2 show tbh. Some people can’t afford it and that’s different, that’s saying what can you afford, but that’s not the question.

    Yeah of course there are much worse ways to spend it. I'm just speaking from my own perspective. I love U2 with all my heart but if I had to choose between paying 50% of an average Spanish month salary and not seeing them that tour, I wouldn't even have a doubt.

    Obviously my perspective is biased due to my own personal & country socioeconomic situation. Paying $600 for a concert ticket is very different when you make $1250 a month than when you make $8000.

    Perspective is the key word. For me 20+ songs of u2 is well worth a lot of money. As I said I’m not saying I’d be happy at £500 or £600 just willing under extreme circumstances, I’d be happier around £150-£250 and I think anything around £100 or less is a bargain which GA hasn’t been more than in Europe or North America I believe, Singapore was a bit more than £100 for GA. At £100 you’re getting a live song performance at less than £5 going on Setlist numbers. Less than £10 a song performance for £200 doesn’t sound expensive to me either.
  4. I said up to $500. I love this band, but their best days are behind them and I have a mortgage and two kids that I'd like to be able to send to college.

    This dynamic pricing scares the hell out of me if the Vegas sphere residency does turn out to be true.

    It'd be awesome if any of our US lawmakers had the spines to take on the ticketing goliaths, but it's getting worse, not better.
  5. I remember u2 tickets for the SOE shows here to be eye popping expensive at the time for me. And that was for, imo , their worst tour. I can’t even imagine what prices will be when they’re back on the road. They will , guaranteed, have dynamic pricing. Every big act has it and none of them seem to be willing to put their foot down. I have no faith that u2 will be the ones to do that. Once PJ tickets had dynamic pricing, I knew it was over and I’d be happily seeing less concerts going forward.
  6. Were those PJ dynamic-priced tickets the ones on TM? I'm guessing/hoping the 10c ones are set (Unfortunately, won't see them in 2022 so I'm not sure how things have changed there).

    Assuming this is the case, I hope for any U2 tickets purchased through their fan club that the prices will also be set.

    10c tickets were about $125 anywhere in the building. I’m in for MSG ( for 2.5 years now) and Camden. Dynamic were Ticketmaster.
