1. They should bring Chris back ... but that's not gonna happen. He had the best indie guitar riffs of the decade.
  2. Listened to their new album. I always thought In This Light And On This Evening was the lowpoint in their career, but we might have a new one
  3. I like the new album, it was what you could expact when you add Blanck Mass to the group. They dare to refresh their selves.
  4. Excited to see them next month...

Well, In Dream is really really hard to beat.

Wow, it's really such a shit album Glad I didn't buy tickets for their shows here in November. Too expensive and not really worth a show supporting this album. I think not even a single song is worth noting or even saving. Will be listening again in a few days, but I suspect this is by far their worst album ever.
  6. If you don't like In Dream then Editors maybe is not the band for you.
  7. Look who's quoting me
Tbh, went to that concert after all and it was ok.
Salvation worked well live, as did Ocean of night and Life is a fear.
Not convinced about Marching Orders and All the kings...

    Really enjoyed Violence!

Will have to listen to EBM...

    Cheers!
  8. For me Editors has 3 fantastic albums (Back Room, An End, The Weight), two good albums (In This Light, Violence) and one terrible album (In Dream).

I'll listen to EBM soon and decide which category it belongs to, but I'm not too fussed about it based on the few fan reviews I've read.

Look who's coming out of the shadows! It's always good to see you around, Glenn.

Funny, for me In Dream is one of their best.
  11. I didn't mind In Dream, Violence is a masterpiece, thought EBM would be the next in a run of good album... Ermmm, maybe not really for me, I'm just not feeling the 'dance' influence.

I look forward to seeing them next year in Manchester, wonder if they'll remix some older songs now Blanck Mass is with them.
  12. My favourite are the first 2 albums because they have the most guitar songs but I like all of their albums.
They're one of those bands that I always listen to the new album and go to the new tour.

My favourite moment of theirs was when they supported The Cure in Bucharest and then after their gig the members came to watch The Cure in the inner circle. I ended up hugged with the singer jumping and screaming to Boys don't cry.
