What did catch my eye though was the way Bono was sitting on the couch for most of the night with his right leg stretched out, almost as if he was carrying an injury. Did he sit that way in other shows, or am I reading to much into his body language.
I wasn't there but i noticed that in other interviews he does sit in the same way with his right leg streched out

He has always had unusual body posture, it is just who he is.
  3. anyone here got any scoops on where to find signed versions of the memoir in stock in Dublin?
  4. He signed some in Dalkey. Gutter Bookshop near Finnegan da pub.
  5. Loads on eBay sadly.
  6. called there a couple of hrs ago, after i saw some pics on twitter. they’re all out.
  7. Signed copies available as of today at Dussmann in Berlin!
  8. Finished the audio book last night. The first third which details his early life in Dublin, family dynamics, band formation, etc. was absolutely outstanding. I also enjoyed the reflective last few chapters ruminating on career, Christianity, and family. It's the middle section covering activism and politics which is a bit of a slog.

Overall, an enjoyable read. Bono's an excellent writer.
Any chance we get an Edge memoir in the next few years?
  9. This is not your average book review as it concentrates more deeply on Bono's faith but then also contrasts and compares this with the faith and work of Nick Cave. It's a bit of an intellectual read with lots of big words but very interesting all the same.

Once I've finished Surrender I think I will check out the book on Nick Cave.
  10. the english audiobook CD set that never happened, and we all had our orders cancelled for...just had its Amazon.ca listing given a new 10% discount. I know they've said its unlikely to ever be produced, but I wonder why a sale has been applied now - if plans have advanced, or whether Amazon has sales automatically applied to listings and it means nothing
