1. don't be funny, we both know it's better for the band than to send them on tour
  2. The album was recorded years ago and there’s no evidence they were ever going to tour for it besides Bono’s book tour. This album delay has nothing to do with Larry’s surgery.

The decision on the final release date of the physical version of the album was made at the same time they agreed to doing Vegas, and plans started for Bono’s solo tour. We were told the physical album was being released in 2023 at the same time the Vegas stuff was first being reported. And while we were told they were still looking at doing a digital release earlier, it’s clear at this point they’ve decided to just put it all out at once in March.

  4. Haha, yeah. I'm still disappointed about it, too. Now that Bono's shows are done just put out the digital album already! A fun treat for fans right before Christmas and then build hype for whatever 2023 holds for the band.

    Oh well.

You think they play Vegas without Larry?
  6. Definitely NOT ,I don't get why they would delay the release of SOS for Vegas it's not as if they will be promoting it as it ties in with Bono's book missed opportunity IMO, I can see this release getting shelved altogether or else they use it for the next U2.com gift.

Every indication is the shows are not done.
  8. I have no information one way or the other so don’t take this in any way but as an opinion. But at this point in their career I can’t see them putting on shows as U2 without him. And personally I wouldn’t want to see them do it.
  9. Notice how Larry used the word “tour” specifically. I’m sure if Vegas happens as planned he will be there. 12 shows in a single city, it doesn’t have to be a full concert. They could play Achtung Baby through and nothing else. Although it will more than likely be greatest hits too
