1. anyone speak with road crew or know when the publisher is looking at adding dates?

I have no info. But just using my logic, I would have guessed it would have been best to get more dates announced and onsale before Xmas, to play off this wks last few promo appearances, but also for the headlines about it to remind shoppers one last time that there's a book avail for Xmas gift ideas.
BUT, the fact that it wasn't announced today (Fri) for sale next week, leads me to believe that it's too close to Xmas now, and won't happen in all the last minute hustle and bustle of the season.
So IF it's announced, say first week of Jan for sale during 2nd week, then it gives roughly the same time frame for tour to happen over month of Feb. We know he can comfortably fit in 14 shows in a month. And the publisher obviously wanted some separation from SOS album, so I can't see Bono shows happening into March. (giving a nice lil separation until March 17 date).
So approx 14 potential dates. I wonder if they would look at re-visiting some cities to satisfy demand (NYC, Chi, etc), or only look at new cities (Philly, Montreal, Denver, etc)

The shows should be announced this upcoming week.
  3. It’s happening !
  4. Hopefully means an announcement is just around the corner, just over 2 months away from the expected release date so would make sense if it was announced soon.
  5. Still need to finish the book.
  6. Wonder if they release a song from the album to accompany the announcement? It would definitely make sense to do so.
  7. The thing I’m most curious about is if the songs on the audiobook which aren’t chapter titles will be released. Sometimes you can’t make it on your own, all I want is you and 40 are too good not to release. Walk on isn’t great with the lyric changes but the others are stand outs.

Walk On wasn't great in it's original form either 😂
  9. Oh it is. It’s one of the bands top 20 songs without doubt, even better live.

Same. SYCMIOYO sounded especially fantastic in the audiobook.

Fun to read that note from Edge to start Monday morning. Excited about this news!
  11. This is very exciting. I can’t wait for the announcement.

I’m starting to wonder if the 40 songs will match the 40 chapters in the book…while I haven’t listened to the audiobook yet, I’ve read that some snippets remain the same as the original (Landlady, Breathe) while some non-chapter songs (Sometimes, All I Want Is You) sound recreated as stated in previous posts.

Did they decide to stick to same 40 songs in the book, or are we in for a few surprises? I guess we’ll find out soon, anyways
