It was a bit of a shambles at Slane though compared to the more rehearsed version they performed on JT2017. I think if they’d played 2 nights at croke park they probably would have played it one of the nights but I’d say over 90% of fans in the stadium would regard Bad as a better track anyway so you’ll only see complaints amongst the real die hard fans who were already being catered for by them playing the 2nd half of JT and little things that give you away.
  2. There is no law against playing ASOH and Bad at the same show.

They could have played ASOH AND Bad like they did in Seattle for example.

    Invisible
    Bad
    Vertigo
    Sunday Bloody Sunday
    Every Breaking wave
    Beautiful day
    Stuck in a moment
    Angel of Harlem
    One

Also was specified it wasn’t in that order. Angel of Harlem is an interesting one with it not being on songs of surrender.

Altough Invisible was played first Bono afterwords, or before playing the song can't remember, said that it would be the last song of the show. Makes sense because that song is played with much more musicians than the other songs, so a grand finale.

So I don't think the order of the setlist that night will be the order in the show anyway.

That makes sense as they also changed the running order for the broadcast of the bbc abbey road performance.
  6. Longer trailer is available, what are your thoughts?
  7. I’m so pumped! Taking the day off work to go to St. Paddy’s Day brunch with my Mom/listen to the album/watch this. Then hosting a brunch the next day.
  8. Also interesting that Bono mentions Larry being injured and Adam off making an art film.
  9. Damn Invisible sounds fantastic there.

    Looking forward to this!

And just to stoke the fires and be a pain in the ass, notice how it's not titled "U2: A Sort of Homecoming.."?
  10. Really, all of those songs sounded fantastic. That’s why I refuse to give up on SOS.
