Well after ~3 months delay due to Iva Davies catching COVID, I was finally able to see them live on Saturday the 18th and it was great fun

Iva's voice is still very strong and they didn't fuck around either - just straight into it with not much pause for breath

Sang the 2nd verse of Uniform in German

Also keyboardist/guitarist Michael Paynter has an amazing voice - took over lead vocals for Man Of Colours

Visuals were stunning as well - would've looked incredible on the JT30 screen

Overall was an amazing experience and definitely worth chucking a sickie from work for

  5. 15 months(!) of waiting and it finally came around on Monday night.

It was amazing this is something I've wanted to do since I first discovered them in 2007 at the age of 8(!) and oh my god it was worth it. lost my mind from sheer excitement. Great setlist as well

Also shoutout to my friend who came with me she became a fan in 2018 and thought she'd never get to see them live

Also post-concert depression is real i wanna go back

Haha isn't it great to feel that at a concert I used to like MCR quite a lot back in the day, I los ttrack of them but their Black Parade album is still great for me, I listen to FLW and the title track every now and then and they're still fresh and potent.

Danger Days is an amazing album would defs recommend it

  8. Video is mediocre at best (not done by me) but the sound is quite passable
  9. Upcoming shows for me....

Willie Nelson's 90th at the Hollywood Bowl this weekend (4/29 and 4/30). I'm in the pool circle, row 3. It's one hell of a lineup.

Yeah Yeah Yeah's at the Berkeley Greek on 6/10. It's a b-day present for my 9 year old daughter. And I like the Yeah's as well. It will be a fun show at one of my favorite venues.

Dead and Company in San Francisco on 7/16. I have a GA ticket, but I'm on the fence about this one. I'm going to hang with friends more than anything. My musical expectations are very low.
