"This was my first ever U2 show. It was my 15th birthday and the tickets were a present from my Mother.
I remember everything about that day. Getting up, going to picked my friend up, the train journey to Wembley, the support acts, and of course the main event. As son as I heard "Stand by Me" I had chills running down my back. It was amazing night and gem that night it has led to many another live show.
Thank you U2"
At the age of 11 my brother bought War and I was hooked. Four years later and my first live show, June 13th 1987 Wembley Stadium and so began the story......,....
what they said
"Everyone gets a little nutty after the end of a tour. You have physiological reactions that continue for months afterwards. Around about 9 o'clock you suddenly start going, 'Where's the show? Where's the show?'"
- Paul McGuiness on the ZooTV tour
