favorite tour: Popmart
 "It's probably because this was the first tour on which the lads visited Greece, and I've got a bit of a patriotic streak. Regardless, I find that in terms of setlist flow, song selection, and just pure, unadulterated spectacle, Popmart remains unsurpassed."
favorite show: 1997-08-28 - Leeds
 "The Popmart gig par excellence, this show's got everything. I'd argue that the entire second leg is brilliant, but this show just stands out. "

 "At heart I'm a fan of a whole lot of different music genres, not least of which is heavy rock. This song was U2 at their rocking-est, and get a load of that chorus! It just exploded live, and it's a damn shame they dropped it from their setlists forever after 1998."

I'm a freelance translator living in Greece. I grew up in the USA, but my parents (who were first-generation immigrants from Greece) wanted to return to Greece, so in 2003 that's just what we did. My first contact with U2 was back in 2001, when I first heard Beautiful Day on the radio. I didn't really, truly get into them until about 2004-05 however, when HTDAAB was released. I was a massive fan right through my school and university years, up to 2014 and SOI, which I just couldn't connect with. I didn't even register that SOE had come out, or that the boys had paid tribute to JT with two dedicated tours. This year though (2022), I jumped right back into the fandom with a renewed vigor.
