I really became aware of U2 the day before my 16th Birthday. Under a Blod Red Sky was released on that day & Radio 1 played "Sunday Bloodu Sunday" & "Electric Co" one after the oher. It was actually Electric Co that got me hooked though. I went out the next day & bought the album. I played the album to death after that.
Have been lucky enough to see them on quite a few occasions. Including a drunken coach trip to Germany in 1989 for the "When Love Comes to town" tour and then I queded for 24 hours at Earls Court in London for tickets for the 1992 tour.
