Spent my early teenage years listening to Boy, October, War etc..finally got to see my first live show on 13 June 1987 at Wembley as an 18 year old. 2 more shows later and I didn't think they could get any better so I sort of fell out of love for a while. Fast forward to April 2004 whilst on a trip to NYC accompanied by a copy of ATYCLB which I played over and over as I explored the city...I fell in love with their music again...30 years after that first show and I'm still feeling the love!
"The songs are the boss. They tell us what to do and they tell everyone in this building what to do. We’ve just got to unlock what the songs are asking and telling us what to do."

did you know
Much of the song 'Drowning Man' is written from the point of view of David railing at God, but occasionally, it switches, and God replies. yet, the song is addressed to Adam Clayton.
