1. The longtime tour manager of U2 , Dennis Sheehan, has died in his hotel room in Los Angeles, according to TMZ.

    Sheehan was reportedly found unconscious in his hotel room at the Sunset Marquis Hotel, and paramedics were called at around 5:30am to respond to a reported cardiac arrest.

    The website claims that he was pronounced dead at the scene.

    Sheehan, who was U2’s tour manager for over 30 years, was in his sixties.

    Last night, the band played their first night out of five at the Forum on Tuesday.

    Sheehan has previously worked with the likes of Iggy Pop, Lou Reed, Led Zepplin and Patti Smith.

  9. We always hear of some U2 related bereavements during a tour but not 3 within 5 shows. Live is where they live and he was a massive part of that. RIP Dennis.
