1. Hello to y'all, my friends!

Today, July the 14th 2007, the World Cup is being displayed here in Benevento. The exposition started at 10 AM CET and it will last untill midnight. It's possible for everyone to admire free this beautiful Cup at 1 metre and half from it. It's allowed to make as many photos as everyone wants and needs.
I myself went there (the exact place is Paolo V palace) just at half past 10. I could enter the palace after half an hour of wait and then... THE VISION! Believe me, the World Cup is even more beautiful than how you could imagine. It's shining, wonderfully bright! It's the most golden object I have ever seen! That is the real GOLD!
The emotions I felt and I'm still feeling at the thought that I SEE THE WORLD CUP IN MY OWN TOWN are indescribable. I made about 10 photos at the Cup and in 2 of them there's also me!

I can't not share with you this experience! I really hope that you will be able to live the same experience in the future!

Here are some of my photos:

  2. its a lovely chink of metal I must say. Bit small though
  3. Well played,I would love to see that trophy. But having a national side that is totally crap,I can't see England winning that in my lifetime.

I also have to say that the semi-final with Germany was one of the best games of football I think I've ever seen. Both teams took the game to a new level in this, and it was nice to see two teams wanting to win for a change instead of being afraid to lose.

Also,an ex player from my club (Everton) played and scored in a World Cup Final,Marco Materazzi.I would never have believed that in a million years, totally useless for us but ends up a World Cup Winner. It's a funny old game.

Treasure those photos my friend,'cos Brasil are gonna take it back off you in 2010......

    Hi gmc!
Thanks for your nice post! I'm very proud that you consider so great the match of July the 4th 2006 between Germany and my Italy! I loved that match so much too! I think it's my favourite match ever, even more than the final itself. I think it's far more awesome to win at the end of a match than at the penalties. However I cried after both the matches!
Anyway you said a wrong thing: in 2010 Italy will be the winner again! (sorry Aidan, but in this case I can't support Brazil... )

  5. You know know that Croatia win Italy in a friendly game??
But nobody didn't play for Italy
    Totti,Cannavaro,Toni,Grosso,Pirlo,Gatusso,Gilardino
No one played from WC 2006 except goalkeeper Amelia
Really a shame it would be a great clash.
You know Croatia won even England 2:0
  6. England sucks

  8. Great experience for you sadb7788 ! But well you live i a great country
And we all know Italy is one of the greatest football-countries in the world
    Totally deserved that title, really

I also had some great experiences with Italy during the cup i must say
I was staying at the beach of Belgium for a week and there were also +/- 20 Italians there, following the matches in a café. So me and my friend also went to there and watched the semi-final and the final with the Italians I can't describe the joy of the Italians there when the match was over !
Total euphory and we joined the party outside on the beach till 3 o'clock in the morning

Unfortunately Belgium will never win the cup
  9. WOW! It's the best cup of all;0 I love it! I'm a bit jealous now that I wasn't able to see it

    Hi Bono!
Thanks for your support to Italy and for saying so good words about my nation! You make me feel proud of being Italian!
And just like you I can't describe the joy of the Italians and so also my joy for the winning in the semi-final and then in the final! I remember those days of about one year ago like some of the most beautiful of my whole life! I would wish everybody to feel emotions like those!
And don't be so sad about Belgium. I'm sure that also your nation will have a great team one day. Every European nation had a great sporting moment in the past. One day will be the turn of Belgium.

  11. Fabbio Cannavaro FOREVER!!!
    My favorite player
