1. What do you think? Which songs will we get this time? Looking forward to the announcement of the songs Too bad the announcement will be in October but shipping will start next summer. Ah well

    Dear member,

From The Ground Up, the official photo book of the U2360° tour, is all set for publication in just a couple of months.

This handsome hardback featuring photography from Ralph Larmann and text by Dylan Jones is published in October but if you're a U2.com subscriber, don't order it yet...

We're delighted to announce that we'll be releasing a special edition of From The Ground Up - just for our U2.com subscribers.

Featuring the same text and photography, this special edition comes with a little something extra - including more exclusive live tracks from U2360°.

No U2.com offer has been as warmly received as the current one with U22 so our 2012/13 package will bring you even more live tracks from U2360°. This will all be part of the surprise when the different elements of the new subscription offer are announced in October. With this email we wanted to give you a heads up that U2360° From The Ground Up will be part of the deal.

Meanwhile on U2.com right now we're asking people for the U2 single they'll never forget - the one that stopped them in their tracks, that will always make a unique connection. Some great stories posted already - add yours here.

We're also looking to you to dive into the 'Reissue' area of the Discography section and add your reviews to albums the band have re-released - from Achtung Baby to Boy, October and War. Start listening. Start reviewing… exclusive prizes on offer.

Finally, as we've mentioned the next U2.com subscription offer, don't forget that the current one is available for a few more weeks. Here's what you need to know to get your own copy of U22 or maybe you've a friend who'd love one? When you buy a friend a gift subscription, we email you an electronic gift certificate. You send this to your friend, they subscribe to U2.com, download 12 tracks and we mail them 'U22'. They love you!

Thanks for reading and stay tuned, we think you're gonna like what's coming up!

    Best wishes
    The U2.com Team.

  2. Sounds good to me - good chance to get some of the gems not available on U22, i speculate that they might take the top 10 in the list that did not make the U22 cut ie tracks 23 > 33 just a thought, but happy for random tracks.

    personal preferences would be

    Electrical storm,
    Spanish Eyes,
    Your Blue Room,
    New Years Day,
    Pride
    Desire
    Angel Of Harlem
    No Line On The Horizon
Hold Me Thrill Me Kiss Me Kill Me
    Breathe

I can't argue with that list. Seems a bit cheap though, offering a book that will be available in the shops and some leftover tracks from the last gift. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see all of those tracks released because they sound great, but where's the originality?

I hope that something extra is worth subscribing for.
  4. I was expecting audio from one or more concerts, but I guess this is a big dream from my mind.

Anyway, I'm excited about the book
  5. More live tracks done in U22 quality? Heck yeah!
  6. So, No Line On The Horizon and Spanish Eyes are coming as well! What will be the other 15? I think at least Electrical Storm, since it's used in the video. I also prefer HM TM KS KM, Miss Sarajevo and Your Blue Room.

    What are your ideas?
  7. Get On Your Boots also seemingly confirmed.

Really excited about this CD - don't expect it to be mixed the same as U22 i think it will just be the individual tracks faded in and out.

but listening to the 2 available downloads has put a smile on my face, great to finally have a top quality live recording of Spanish Eyes, this does sound great professionally recorded and makes this version feel much more alive than the bootleg version.

Looking forward to a few rarities on this disk looks like Electrical Storm is a definite and im hoping for Your Blue Room, Mothers, Desire and Angel of Harlem, Pride, New Years Day, I Will Follow, Breathe, Hold Me Thrill me , Kiss Me Kill Me to name a few.
  9. I already gave them my $40. First thing I did this morning without giving it a second thought.

    NLOTH made me so happy.
  10. Hmmm...this "bundle" seems iffy...

Yeah, the new CD defintely will grab me. The book on its own wouldn't have cut it.

Part of me expects a bunch of the 360 "regulars" (SBS, Vertigo, Crazy, and Boots) that didn't make it onto U22 to make it this time around.

We'll just have to wait and find out, I guess.
  12. Here is the list of leftover tracks:

    In A Little While
    Miss Sarajevo
    Mothers of the Disappeared
    New Year's Day
    No Line On The Horizon
    Party Girl
Pride (In The Name of Love)
    Scarlet
    Spanish Eyes
    Return of the Stingray Guitar
    Stuck In A Moment
    Sunday Bloody Sunday
    Vertigo
    Your Blue Room
