1. So I have finally found time to watch the official release yesterday and I have to say it was a disapointment - I don't have a bluray player, so I bought the double DVD and the picture quallity is just horrible.

Yes, I have seen all those leaked shows in full HD and of course I know DVDs have way different resolution, but I have seen quite a few DVDs, and this one really doesn't look like a 2016 product. It started from the very first second, when there is the text informing about the cancelled shows - it is blurred! No way it is because of the 480p resolution of the DVD. And it goes through the whole show. It looks like a poor DVD rip. The whole video is just blurred and watching it I felt like there was something wrong with my eyes. How is the bluray? Is it also bellow the quality of the leaked shows, or is it really 1080p with everything it should offer? Well, I payed over 20 Euro for this and I doubt I will ever watch it again. The sound is fine, no problem there, but the video.... Why do they deliver such a subpar product anyway? Do they speculate that after one buys an unwatchable DVD, he goes and buys a BluRay?

Edit: I have now compared the official DVD with the DVD someone made from the 07-12 show and which I downloaded from torrents here. And the official version has waaaay worse picture than the DVD somebody made from the broadcast. From the very beginning - the text is not blurred at all on the bootleg version (the DVD - 480p). Neither is blurred the whole show. Now I really feel ripped off.
  2. Okay, I have made those screen shots. The first one is always the official relase, the second one is taken from the bootleg which is here on torrents. Both are DVDs - the same resolution. Are they serious? I feel like an idiot paying 20E for this:

The blu ray quality is really pretty. It's 1080p or 1080i. It's a shame that the DVD quality is so bad
  4. noticed that, too, when I watched the dvd. picture quality is really bad even for dvd standards.
  5. I won't buy it then.
  6. If you buy it, buy the blu ray version
  7. Yeap, but after seeing the DVD, it is only a waste of money and nothing else. Having some different camera angles in an unwatchable quality is really not a reason to buy it. It is either the BluRay or nothing. I am sure I will never watch the DVD again and will stick to the TV broadcast and the leaked videos.
  8. I wanted to make screencaps for sharing on forums and social media. And thats when I noticed this same problem.
    How unbelievably cheap.
Thought it was my software acting weird. But the resolution of the DVD is really, REALLY, actually that shit?!
    Oh my...

Glad I have the 1080P version from the live broadcast.. #Firstworldproblems...

Just that you pay quite a bit for it. And get bad quality products in return.
