    Enjoy those shows coming up!!
Thank you so much. My only advice is this. No one ever said on their deathbeds they went to too many concerts. I don't have a lot in the way of material possessions, I live pretty simply. My big splurges have always been around epic events -- I have found travel and music to go together really well. I have no regrets, even though I will probably be working until I am 100. I enjoy what I do for a living, so that's quite alright though
  2. Thank you so much. There are quite a few people from this group and others going to Vegas so I look forward to meeting some more of you in person.

I'm still in denial. His presence in the world, the legacy of his work that lives on in so many places and people, including a band we all know and love, seems transcendental. The fact that he turned is own death into an astonishing work of art somehow, inexplicably, makes me still feel like he is very much present. He was the perfect rock star, and so much more. If he didn't exist we would have had to make him up.

Thank you so much. It was genuinely an honor to be able to share some thoughts, I think a lot about these things and find that unless you've been part of the journey, it's hard to relate the experiences to others. Friends are constantly encouraging me to write more and this may have catalyzed some momentum in that regard.
