  3. I think they're going to play The Joshua Tree straight, probably in the beginning. Then I see other 10 songs, mostly from the 80s.

    Well, everything would change if it's true that they will play the new material from SOE, although I'm pretty sure it'll be a big celebration of their 80s (see also: their biggest hits).
  4. I don't think they will open with the album. Mothers would be a gorgeous closer but it would mean the Joshua Tree album being broken by an encore break if they wanted to close with Mothers.

  6. Personally, I'm hoping its not a sequential performance of the album, I don't think that would work well, but who knows.

    A bastardised JT 1987 setlist intermingled with some other tunes old and new is what I'm hoping for.

    I would love to see nothing after JT performed. Keep it real. Like it was. Boy through JT only. Unlikely, yes. But I'd love it.

    If they have any plans of kicking off SOE tour this year though, they'd likely have to work a lot of these songs in this tour. It would be almost too tight to schedule JT until August and then turn right around to rehearse new songs for SOE and get it kicked off by fall. And I don't see them beginning a tour in winter...
