1. I'd be a little surprised if the setlist wasn't at least 24 songs. Not saying I'll be disappointed if it's not but I'd like it to be around that number. It also depends on whether we have songs like October or the zooropa we got on I&E which is a lot shorter, they two combined add up to one normal length u2 song, so I suppose it's more about how long they play for than the number of songs.
  2. I guess MLK will fill the MLK / The ocean / October / Scarlet slot on this tour

    Ultraviolet (Light My Way)
    One
The Little Things That Give You Away (new song)
    Bad
    “40”

Who wouldn't be happy with this list? Maybe give us a modern day Desire in place of B-Day but now I'm just splitting hairs.
  4. Adding to your post, treasure, I think they should come out to ASOH and then break into one of those Boy tunes.

    Edit: Something like:
    ASOH
    IWF (or OOC)
    Gloria
    Oct
    NYD
    SBS
Pride (or UF, but doubt it)
    MLK

    yadda, yadda, yadda...
  5. Loving the rare/new songs in the set, but I'll also be a bit disappointed in only 20 songs for what we're paying. Curious as to what they open with. It seems like they haven't settled on anything, though ASOH would be great if that's where it lands. Considering the rehearsals, it seems like they are taking some sort of a cinematic/thematic approach to the set, like America in the 60s/70s, America in the 80s and the choices America face today. Maybe they open with some sort of cover? I also think they close with something that's not a new song. I bet there's another encore break for one or two more songs.

Also, what about Desire or All I Want Is You? They keep coming back to those songs from the JT era in other shows. Shouldn't they find a place in the set?
  6. They should get rid of BD, One and UV and throw in AIWIY and Hawkmoon.

I don't think they'd need all that much time to rehearse those two. They seem to be able to play both of the RH songs on a whim. Hopefully they will both find their way into the set.

As stated many times before (by me and others), I think it'd be great to drop any post-1980's tunes but it doesn't look like that happening (and hey, I'll gladly take the awesome UV).
  8. As I stated on another thread we have no half arsed semi-acoustic songs in the set yet so I guess that's where the R&H songs will fit in. I'd be happy with the recent version of Desire to open. Any other post Zoo TV version just doesn't do it for me.

there is no need for acoustic or semi-acoustic set...
  10. The J stage is for In God's Country, Trip through your Wires , both full band, and Bono, Edge and Adam to take a trip into the audience. I am a but worried about the shape of the J- stage, this is asking for an accidential fall....
