I belted out SLS anyway (over top of the oh, oh, oh, ohs). It can/should be done by Bono as the timing works.

A little reference for everyone...been a U2 fan since mid-80's, seen them 30 or so times in total. In the last month I was at Pitt, Philly and the 2nd NY show. 2x in the Redzone.
I was 100% stoked for this tour as JT is my all-time favorite...no doubt.
Here are my observations of what I experienced...LMK if you think I am off base
Positives
I love how the show starts. Lights on - Larry - Drum kit - It's incredible.
Like hearing the chronological order of the JT - Some don't I think it's fine.
Edge is just fantastic. Love listening to him play. The dude is a rock guitar god.
The video screen is ridiculous. It's beautiful, not a distraction...definitely adds to the experience 100%
I always dreamed of a "Greatest Hits" tour...and this is pretty much it
Overall I left the show happy.
Negatives - As a long-time fan I've seen things evolve quite a bit, so some of this may seem overly critical...take it with a grain of salt.
Show is too short. I think a little over 2 hrs is ridiculously terse considering the breadth of their catalog, what some other artists do (Bruce specifically) and the next point which is...
Ticket prices are over-the-top - I get that it's "What the market will bear" and this is a cash grab...but if you're gonna pay several 100 dollars per seat in some cases...I think adding 3 more songs is the least you could do.
Nit-picking here but..Can you please give the people what they want and do Shine like Stars at the end of WOWY? That bums me out big time and I have no idea why he won't do it.
Another nit-pick - I think you can drop Pride at this stage.
Paid for the Redzone for 2 shows which was really fun. Bono COMPLETELY ignored us both nights I was there. He literally wouldn't even look at us. Wonder why?
Lastly - Bono has voice issues, I get it. What can you do. But can you at least memorize the words to your own songs that you've sung a zillion times? That really kinda ruins the moment for me...Singing along to Bad and I know the lyrics better than Bono.
Anyway, I'd be interested to see what you think as well...And Sorry if this is in the wrong forum ...
