  2. Sorry! Steve Hogarth brought something far superior to that band. Loved the band from the start and was gutted when i heard of the split but i gave Hogarth a chance and have collected EVERYTHING since. Some of those albums have real hidden gems. Check this out...

    I think its down to them being very different people. Hogarth is more spiritual in his outlook and defines his lyrics. There are some absolutely outstanding songs by both, but Hogarth brought a different dynamic to the band that was needed upon reflection. I still think Misplaced Childhood is a masterpiece. The recent box set testifies to this.
