1997-09-26 - Thessaloniki, Greece - Harbour Yard - The Popmart Tour featured some extraordinary venues, that's for sure... But one of the most jaw-dropping was Thessaloniki's harbour, which was U2's first concert ever in Greece. Photo by Kevin Davies
2009-08-20 - Sheffield, England - Don Valley Stadium - The Claw at one of the lower stadiums of the whole 360 Tour. Sheffield's former stadium felt so tiny besides this giant structure!
2011-07-23 - Minneapolis, Minnesota - TCF Bank Stadium - A photo taken from the sky showing the city of Minneapolis and the gigantic Claw in the middle. Photo by Jim Gehrz and Tom Wallace
2006-02-15 - Mexico City, Mexico - Azteca Stadium - The Vertigo Tour stopped at Mexico's biggest stadium and left us a few impressive pictures!
2011-02-18 - Cape Town, South Africa - Cape Town Stadium - This was the first concert ever held at the impressive Cape Town Stadium, although U2 and many other artists performed at the previous stadium on the site (which was demolished in 2007).
2010-08-15 - Horsens, Denmark - CASA Arena Horsens - Look at that venue with people just pouring out of its four sides and The Claw making it look LEGO-size!
2005-08-05 - Nice, France - Parc des Sports Charles Ehrmann - Nice aerial shot of the Vertigo Tour stage in an unusual configuration (on one side of the stadium instead of one of the shorter ends).
2011-07-08 - Montreal, Quebec - Hippodrome de Montréal - Just five small grandstands, an open field and... The Claw.
1998-02-17 - Perth, Australia - Burswood Dome - The only arena show of the Popmart tour, with the gigantic stage fitting inside the Burswood Dome (except the giant stick and olive, which didn't fit!).
2009-06-30 - Barcelona, Spain - Camp Nou - The 360 Tour kicked off at one of the biggest stadiums in the world. Photo by Josep Tom
2009-07-24 - Dublin, Ireland - Croke Park - Not a true 360 show, but more 270 degrees as there were no seats behind the stage.
1997-08-26 - Belfast, Northern Ireland - Botanic Gardens - The band only played Belfast once in the whole 90's decade, and it was at these wonderful gardens besides River Lagan.
2011-07-05 - Chicago, Illinois - Soldier Field - Chicago is an impressive city full of skyscrappers, and The Claw took its place among them for a few days in 2009 and 2011.
1997-09-20 - Reggio Emilia, Italy - Festival Site - More than 150,000 fans attend this concert. It currently holds the world record for the largest paying crowd to a single act without support.
2001-07-29 - Berlin, Germany - Waldbuehne - At the second outdoor show of the Elevation Tour, the stage is altered to fit the amphitheater. The top of the heart is in front of the band, not circling behind it. The venue is a mosquito-riddled outdoor bowl that once showcased Nazi muscle during the 1936 Berlin Olympics.
