1. I've decided to re-open THE files.
Some of you might have known my first tour compilations back in the days (like 8 years ago).
A board member just sent me a mail to ask me if i could re-upload all the tour compilations i've made. No problem at first sight.
Then i thought why not making new ones? Like the first Offical U2start Tour Compilations. And everybody on board would be included.

    how we could proceed:

1# choose the tracklist (every song played on the tour should be part of it)
2# choose the best sounded bootlegs
3# make a poll about the best performance of each song to select the tracks
4# create great cd covers of course

Sure it's gonna take some time to built this up, but could be a geat "gift" for all our members.

    what do you think?
  2. Here's an example for The Boy Tour:

    01 - I will follow (1981-05-15 - San Francisco)
    02 - 11 O'Clock Tick Tock (1981-02-09 - Stockholm)
    03 - Touch (1980-10-14 - Hilversum)
    04 - An cat dubh (1981-01-23 Belfast)
    05 - Into the heart (1981-01-23 Belfast)
    06 - Another time, Another place (1981-04-09 - Minneapolis)
    07 - Shadows and tall trees (1980-02-26 - Dublin)
    08 - Stories for boys (1981-03-06 - Boston)
09 - Things to make and do (1981-03-03 Washington)
    10 - A day without me (1981-03-15 Los Angeles)
    11 - Boy/Girl (1981-05-08 New Orleans)
    12 - The Electric Co. (1981-05-09 Memphis)
    13 - Out of control (1981-02-15 - Hamburg)
    14 - Twilight (1981-06-08 Geleen)
    15 - Fire (1981-05-28 - Boston)
    16 - I fall down (1981-05-11 - Denver)
    17 - The Ocean (1981-02-28 - London)

    bonus:

    18 - Carry me home (1981-06-09 - London)
    19 - Father is an Elephant (1980-11-11 - Canterbury)
    20 - All Along The Watchtower (1981-02-01 - London)

It would be cool to have various cities represented for each tour
  3. You're missing Another day. I think you should include these too:

    Pete the chop
The dream is over / The king's new clothes
    Life on a distant planes
    Cartoon world
    Jack in the box
    The speed of life
    Inside out
    Glad to see you

    maybe too much ?

    Great idea though !!
  4. Idea of the year!
  5. Who's in to do one of this of the US leg of the I+E tour after NYC 8?
  6. Something tells me we still have way more new songs until the end of the first leg. You want to take care of the polls for the songs, Leonardo?
  7. My plan is to listen to all the Leg 1 boots AFTER the tour has been completed - or at least not begin to listen until after the two Toronto shows I'll be attending next week. Admittedly, I listened to the first two shows (Vancouver) and sort of regret it. I want to go in as fresh as possible - even if I already know the majority of the setlist.

Good plan. The tour has evolved since the Vancouver shows, so you can still see some surprises.
  10. Don't get his hopes that high "evolved" sounds a bit an overstatement to me.
  11. Well, we have much better Miracle, a different song in the intermission and overall, the songs are being played much better. That's an evolution to me, not necessarily in the setlists.
