1. apparently this is discarded artwork…i do hope so..
  2. Where's the "Don't Be Horny, Be a Christian" song?!?
  3. haha yes…! must be a b-side to Glorify then…
the titles seem very much ‘on brand’ even for U2 …not too sure about the validity of these, though it comes from an industry source

There is no validity to it. It’s absolutely manufactured by someone. We’ll never see a release stating “the final u2 album” on it
  5. Terrible design!
  6. since i readed that "final U2 studio album" i knew it was fake
  7. and those names for the songs are the less U2 thing that i ever seen

There’s 12 in total. From the 90s the following are left…

    - Five Achtung Baby singles
    - Six Pop singles (Discotheque, Staring at the Sun, Last Night on Earth, Please, If God Will Send His Angels and Mofo)
    - Sweetest Thing

That’s 12. Miss Sarajevo wasn’t “U2” and “Hold Me, Thrill Me” wasn’t issued by Island and had no real bonus U2 content.

Both Stay and Lemon are included in the “To Love and Only Love” playlist which takes the total to 14 singles.

Of course there’s still ATYCLB singles that didn’t get done if instead of going back to AB they keep going forward…

Looking at the picture they’re using to promote it and the fact they’ve started with discotheque, i think they’ll go with the pop-atyclb route rather than the other way round. All the pop singles then sweetest thing, all the atyclb singles and finally electrical storm.
  9. Lance Schart 's Twitter. He works in media/music biz. He explains where these items came from [proof/print artwork] on a U2 project that was canceled. It was under a NDA agreement which printer houses are subjected to when working with artists.

  10. There's an entire roll of unused "hype stickers" too that would be affixed to the packaging.

Ummm...not to be a downer, but this isn't real. Lance Schart does extensive (and exhausting in my opinion) April Fool's pranks each year, and this is the 2024 edition.

Don't trust anything he posts on that day, no matter how official it looks!
