1. Listened to this recently again, too. It was actually ten years ago, back in 2006, when I first bought this album. Fell in love with it instantly. Nothing beat driving around with Discotheque, Mofo, or Last Night On Earth blaring at high volume. An inventive, rocking, satirically brilliant album, all the more for its "unfinished" quality.

having my penis touched definitely beats it
  3. Listening to please a lot the last couple of days. I feel like there's something not right on the album version. The popmart live version however is a masterpiece I think. Any of you guys feel the same? I rarely put on the album version, the bassline feels a lot different.
  4. Yeah, it's a common thought here that the album version falls short. The single version is much better (as are of course the live performances).
  5. It's missing that dope breakdown part where Edge plays that wah guitar riff that sort of sounds like Relax.
  6. All Please versions except the acoustic Elevation ones are incredible. Album, version, remix, live 1997. All great.
  7. +1. The live version on the PopHeart EP/Please single is fantastic.
  8. yep... Also Tibetan Freedom Concert version with Hallelujah outro or MTV Video awards version are awesome! And first Elevation version (Baltimore) is great too... electric version, sadly no good bootleg for it
  9. Acoustic versions are good too, for the times the world was facing. It may not have been as good as the Popmart versions, but it was not like acoustic SBS.

Wow, today was the first time I listened to the Baltimore 2001 version. It's amazing!
