  2. In my opinion these screens are "screaning" for an horizontal speaker like this:

  3. So, I guess the general consensus is that smart watches are useless?

No surprises there. What's wrong with a nice automatic or quartz watch?
  4. That aren't great for music though. I will get kne for the living room though. The speakers I have come with a lovely sub woofer that sit under the desk. They were £100 and do the job well for that price. For now.

Long term I'll want an audio amp that I can run everything into then output to a proper set of speakers. All in good time.

I enjoyed my smart watch while I had it. Fairly useful but the hardware just isn't there yet. They need to be slimmer with much better battery life.

There is no general consensus on smart watches yet I don't think. I've got one (and I had another before it) and I really enjoy it. It's great for checking notifications without taking out my phone while I'm at work, and similarly great for changing track / volume without having to take out my (rather large) phone. So, definitely not completely useless.

I'm still not sure how I feel about them overall though. I've had two, and I bought the second one because I just couldn't take the battery life on my Moto 360 any longer. This one is much better in that department, but where does it end? You can buy a nice automatic or quartz watch and have it last a very long time. Everyday I'm wearing this smartwatch I'm conscious that the battery is holding a little less charge with every cycle, and it's just becoming another device in my upgrade cycle. I don't know how often I want to be paying for new smartwatches. If this doesn't hold me for at least 3 years OR smartwatch functionality doesn't significantly expand I won't be buying another.
  7. What did you replace the 360 with?

I don't like the look of Android Wear 2.0
  8. Huawei Watch. Got a decent deal, but it was still a kick in the teeth.

I'm withholding judgement. Need to actually see it for myself, but I like some of what I'm seeing. My watch supports the beta, but fuck that.
  9. Moto 360 here, love it but I'm ready for an upgrade. Nothing special out there though

That Huawei isn't cheap. I might go for an Urbane if it can be had for cheap though I'd be best sitting back for a few months to see how things pan out.

Ask Remy He uses his smartwatch for taking pics, consulting day schedule, read whatsapps, cooking dinner, you name it.
  12. Finally upgraded to Windows 10.

First impressions, Not bad at all. It's actually quite good.
