    Looking back at U22 and Edge's Picks made me realize how much of a crown jewel those two gifts are, but served as a sort of "genie is out of the bottle" moment for me as well. Prior to U22's release, everyone had always joked that soundboards of every concert were kept on file somewhere and that one day they would release it all. U22 pretty much confirmed that and now it's come to be something we expect from every tour, because honestly why the hell not. U22's fan vote system was pretty amazing though, because at the time we did not think we would be getting any of the other tracks.

    I guess last years gift wasn't that great and expencive because they had planed a tour and tickets for the fans are something that makes them happy. so when no tour is you need something like the book (wich was 30 something when you bought it) and with a tour you do not need something like that.

  5. They should release both Glasgow shows on DVD & CD. A 6 disc box. Would be epic.
  6. I do wish U2 released more shelved stuff, though. There must be absolute droves of songs from between 2009 and 2014 that the band have decided to let lie and not revisit - so why not let us paying subscribers get a CD? I mean, even just one CD with 10-14 tracks would be pretty darn impressive.

    Didn't we get that in 2009 with the Rare & Unreleased CD?

  9. 2017 presale codes have proven to be the most useful ever. The gift will be a nice to have affix, but the subscriptions have already paid off!

  11. I think the U2-2 and From The Ground Up were the best gifts. I hoped that they would do the same with I&E. But that tour was less extensive.

    There was still a lot of rarities played on I&E, Gloria, October, Two Hearts Beat As One, Zoo Station to name a few off the top of my head.

    The best thing they could do is put a poll on the website to vote for which show or shows should be released from the tour. The fans vote for it, then whichever has the most votes is released.
