  1. U2 have always played shorter setlist's than other bands. It's annoying.

hey, hey, don't exaggerate...Stones play like 19 songs top...
  3. It mostly depends by the attendance. I don't mean to bug ya, but I remember the last show I saw by far in Turin, 2010. I sang every song, even North Star and Glastonbury. People next to me looked at me oddly not because of this, but because they didn't know U2 wrote songs like TUF or Hold Me... ! They were there just for the classics and this is really annoying. U2 know that and that's the reason of these very safe setlists.
  4. Well, the Stones are down to 18 songs nowadays.

If Bono or Larry need a break - give them one, let Edge play something on his own, maybe with Adam on bass as an additional treat.

I think Bonos voice is great on this tour, but the bike accident and his bad back have taken it's toll, he's struggling to get through the show and he often is out of breath and most of the times he is moving slowly. He used to be a high energy performer, running around the stage, connecting with the audience. He has to find a new angle to his performance on a huge stage. I am okay with that, and I am thankful that Bono is still performing on those huge stages. But I am worried about how much longer this can go on, thinking a few years ahead, I am in doubt. To me, the solution is in performing indoors, it's easier in there, as was proven on I&E.
  5. Being at a concert I like all the U2 songs. No problem with Elevatio, Vertigo, Pride etc.

But going home on 29-07, after 21 songs....., I would have mixed feelings. The same like in 2015 when ISHWLF was the closer 15-09 Amsterdam.
  6. I complained endlessly about the variation on I&E and by the time the tour rolled on to Europe the b stage variantion was all but gone. Here's what happened with u2:
When they sense a lull in the crowd during a "fan"
Song like ASOH, they retreat to crowd pleasers. I really hope this doesn't happen with ASOH but it happened on I&E.
  7. What's the best way (i.e., social media platform) nowadays to let the band know that fans are unhappy with the dropping of ASOH
There's gotta be a good way to ensure they are aware of this, no?

It would all depend on what 21 songs, if they played the same as last night but swapped elevation and Miss Sarajevo for ASOH and I will follow i'd take it.

As long as the fans get up for Elevation and check their cellphones/go buy beer/go to the bathroom for the deep cuts, they will drop the latter songs.
